Uthayakumar's Farewell Message

I cried after watching the video. He knew it was coming but smilingly accepted his fate. He was willing to sacrifice his freedom in exchange for the dignity of his community. He may have said some unwise things. But there are others who have said far terrible things and got away with it. No one deserves the ISA. Not even those who wanted to bathe the keris with non-Malays blood.

I cried again after reading Tony Pua's testimony about another detainee, V. Ganabatirau. Please read it. The evil one has denied a 4 month girl a father's hugs and kisses.

ISA = EVIL.

Hi,

For those who are concerned for the welfare of Ganabathi's family, in appreciation of his efforts to build a better Malaysia, we have set up a mechanism for donations, as explained here:

http://tonypua.blogspot.com/2007/12/donations-for-ganabathi.html

This donation drive is driven by DAP Damansara Branch, of which Gana's a member. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Jack,

That's what made the video so poignant.

Let's us meditate on a portion of Mary's Magnificat this Christmas season

He has shown strength with his arm;
he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their heart;

he has brought down the mighty from their thrones
and exalted those of humble estate;

he has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich he has sent empty away.

Luke 1:51-53
